  1. Hi. I lost you for a couple of weeks. Congratulations on your new position!! Heard the news on TBS. I hope that you will continue the site. It has been a great resource.

  2. Another helpful site is FiredNetwork.com, which has a lot of practical resources for the unemployed (headhunters, resume/interview tips, etc.) It also provides professional networking opportunities for those who either have been laid off, are looking to change careers, or are in the position to facilitate those changes.

  3. Another great site is JibberJabber. Jason Alba runs the site and he is very helpful. Just laid off this week. Jason has written some great blogs.

  4. Hey, hows it going? My name is Matt I am a sophomore in college and I recently began a new job posting site called PlentyofResumes.com. I found your blog and thought we might be able to help each other out. I just launched my site recently and now I am trying to get the word out any way I can.
What makes PlentyofResumes.com so great is that it is free to both employers and job seekers. Other job sites charge companies thousands of dollars just to view prospective employees. By making my site free to everyone I am hoping to achieve two ends. First to bring a wide assortment of job seekers to PlentyofResumes.com and second to attract all types of companies as they will have to pay no fees whatsoever. I thought I would reach out to your blog, hoping you would help me achieve my goal. Currently we are waiting to allow employers to sign up until we have 5,000 registered job seekers. I am doing this so that I will have a large number of workers on the site to draw employers interest.
So here is my idea, I am going to be keeping a blog on my new site. So if you would do a short write up on my site on your blog I would be more than happy to do that for yours on mine.

Let me know what you think,

    Matt

  5. Hello again, just thought I would let you know that we recently started our own blog on our website and have added you to the blogroll. It would be awesome if you could check us out and maybe even add us to your blogroll. I know it is alot to ask of a site as wonderful and well put together as yours. But I really think you should check us out, were new, absolutely free to everyone and looking to help alot of people out.

    Thanks,

    Matt
